さて、毎年ご案内している伊香具神社の八重桜が咲き始めました。毎晩、バスでご案内しています。
この画像はお客様が撮ってくださったもので、私も同じ場所から撮ったのですが見た目が雲泥の差。センスって出ます。私のものはあえなく不採用。昨年便りでご紹介した湖畔のノウルシも今年は早めの満開を迎えています。山々の緑も色とりどり。本当に春真っ盛りといった湖北です。
昨年の今頃、当館が2022年2月26日（ロシアのウクライナ侵攻直後）にHPで宣言した「ロシア人、ベラルーシ人宿泊拒否」の投稿について、日本での人種差別問題として中日新聞に取り上げられました。当館の想いは戦争反対であり、取材時にもそのようにお答えしていただけに、記者の方の主観で「こうも内容が変わるのか」と驚きました。その後も、反対・賛成色々な方からご批判や、応援を頂戴し、ネット社会での情報発信について色々と考える機会となりました。あれから1年。ロシアの侵攻から1年2か月。ついにプーチン大統領はロシアにとっての自衛のための戦争であると認め、ウクライナ東部はロシアの一部だとまで宣言しました。今となっては、旅館業法違反についての部分はしっかりと認め謝罪しつつも、戦争反対というメッセージだけは取り下げるべきではなかったのかなと思います。
全国旅行支援で大わらわの陰に、北朝鮮のミサイルに対して無力な日本。ロシアの侵攻に対して今も抵抗を続けるウクライナ。ミャンマー政府は民間人虐殺を正当化する声明を出し、香港に続いて台湾にも中国が影響を及ぼそうと画策しています。平和産業であるはずの観光にとって、コロナが終息に向かいつつある中、まだまだ向かい風なことばかりが世界では起こっており、世の中を見る高さを変えるだけで色々なものの見方や考え方があるのだと気づかされます。
そんな中でも桜は咲き誇り、私たちの心に潤いを与えてくれる。自然に感謝して、社会に感謝して、明日も平和な日常が訪れるように祈りつつ今日のお客様をお迎えしたいと存じます。どうぞ、旅館紅鮎にお出かけください。
